Bookmakers slash odds for Cristiano Ronaldo to join Juventus

Juventus are close to signing Cristiano Ronaldo, so close that bookmakers have slashed their odds on the 33-year-old joining the Serie A champions.
The price for the Portuguese forward to sign for Juventus before September 3 has been cut to just 1.28 in decimal odds.
In other words, the bookmakers are very confident that this transfer will come to fruition.
On the other hand, odds of 3.00 are being offered for the player to still be at Real Madrid by the end of the summer transfer window.
