The 30-year-old last played for Western New York Flash in 2016, having suffered with a knee injury since. Sanderson has scored 15 goals for her country across 50 caps, but last played for England in 2015.
Sanderson, along with new Juventus team-mate Eni Aluko, received apologies from the Football Association after they aired grievances against former manager Mark Sampson, who was sacked last year for what the FA judged was inappropriate behaviour in his previous job at Bristol Academy.
